Reverting To A Bathroom - The Beginning

We used to have three bathrooms in the house. Two that originally were existing when we arrived, one for the main house and one in Lola's bedroom, and a third that was constructed for Daddy back in 2008. It was a closet space that we converted into a toilet and bath for him, so he won't need to walk far whenever he needed to use one. So we dug and bore for piping and installed a toilet. Nothing else was done for it as getting a working toilet was deemed functional enough for the time being.

When Dad died, there was no need for the third toilet. So we took out the toilet and patched up the drain and outlet pipe (so it won't smell) and reverted it back to a closet for the kids. A few years later, Lola died and we had a spare bedroom with a toilet and bath. A couple more years later we decided to build a carport to park the car safely at night. We knocked down part of the house to accomplish this including part of the spare room and the whole bathroom. So we're now left with just one functioning toilet and bath.

We managed for several years now having only one toilet and bath and for the most part, it has worked out for us. But there are times that a second one would have made things easier. The kids have their own separate rooms now but they still share one closet for all their clothes. So in order to re-convert the closet space into a functioning bath once again, I'm going to need three cabinets, one for each of them, to free up the intended space. This is going to be a fun project, I'm sure of it.
